prodream USA was founded by Lorne Kelly. Lorne’s experience of both golf and the American scholarship system is unparalleled.

Lorne KellyLorne has first hand experience of collegiate golf in the States. During his four years at Coastal Carolina University, where he gained his BA in business, Lorne was voted ‘Most valuable player’ and became an NCAA Division I All American.

Lorne then went on to Scottish International status and subsequently following his success, became part of the winning teams for Great Britain and Ireland in both the Walker Cup and  Eisenhower teams

He has won the La Manga Masters, two times winner of the West of Scotland open championship, winner of the Scottish Open strokeplay championship, two times runner up in the J&B order of merit, Lytham Trophy winner, holds 12 course records across the UK and is a PGA professional.

Lorne founded prodream USA specifically to ensure that more of our young golfers have the chance of competing in the states and enjoying the experiences that he had while there by taking all the confusion away and guiding you through the system. Through his experience and profile, Lorne has built relationships with coaches throughout the US. Having successfully tailored over 800 scolarships for young golfers, no-one knows the system better than Lorne and he would be delighted to help you through it too.

In addition, prodream USA has a highly qualified team of people to provide all the help and support you need when pursuing a US golf scholarship.

Karl a PGA Professional with over 20 years coaching experience, assists Lorne in providing the in-depth knowledge of the American Collegiate System covering all the nuances of eligibility, arrival in USA and a comprehensive guide to’ living the dream’ and  ensuring successful candidates are fully prepared for the amazing experience facing them.  Karl also has responsibility for filming and editing ‘Swing Footage’ of  candidates and the  placing and marketing of same, on prodream’s Website of which controlled access is given to USA Golf Coaches to allow them to view potentials scholars in a confidential and professional manner.

Gemma, a Ladies European Tour player and Ohio State Alumni, assists Lorne in dealing specifically with the girl scholarships. Gemma captained Ohio State Women’s golf team for 3 out of the 4 years at this major D1 University and graduated with a BSc in Biology. On completion of her studies, she gained her full LPGA Symetra Tour card where she competed professionally for several years before returning home to play on the Ladies European Tour. The former Scottish Internationalist  believes that her 4 year scholarship experience in the USA made her dream of becoming a golf professional a reality and she is looking forward to sharing her personal experiences with other girls who are interested in ‘living the dream.’

Jack, and his admin team, assist Lorne and Karl, on all administrative and financial aspects of prodreamUSA and the recruitment process, from initial enquiry to meeting Lorne via Countrywide Information Seminars or at prodream’s base at Haggs Castle GC,  joining the prodream program, maximising academic and sports credentials, providing the latest information on NCAA requirements and loading Prodream’s ‘shop window’ with successful eligible candidates.
