In any normal year, Lottie Woad would have been preparing for exams when the English Women’s Amateur Championship was taking place. But the rescheduling of the 2020 season presented a rare opportunity for 16-year-old school girl Lottie Woad to compete in one of England Golf’s ‘Majors’, taking full advantage to finish third in the stroke play qualifying and reach the Quarter-Finals at Woodhall Spa last month, while also mixing it with the big guns from the Ladies European Tour as she earned an invite to this summer’s Rose Ladies Series.
We spoke to the England Girls international at Archerfield Links as she prepared to make her decision on which college she would be opting for as Stateside life beckons in Fall ’22…
